ANDRÁS KECSKÉS
The Artist’s Credo
“For more than thirty years, I have been painting, drawing, exhibiting, and teaching. My painting has always been rooted in visual experience and direct observation of nature. I am able to interpret the elements of the visible world by arranging them into painterly structures, and when an idea involving a painterly problem encounters an observed structure, an image may come into being.”
